Dan Roberts has served on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County Board of Directors since 2020. He’s currently the board treasurer as well as a Big Brother in the program.
Roberts is the Senior Director of Manufacturing Network Optimization at Grande Cheese Company. Grande is a valued supporter of BBBS each year, dedicating time, money, and volunteers to efforts such as Adopt-a-Family and Bowl for Kids’ Sake. You can always find Roberts lending a helping hand behind the scenes.
“The opportunity to give back to the community and provide the children we serve with positive adult role models” is what Roberts loves most about being part of the organization.
Not only did Roberts join the board in 2020, but he also made the decision to become a Big Brother. Roberts has been a Big for nearly three years, making a consistent effort to meet with his Little each week. When he was a kid, he enjoyed football, basketball, and riding BMX bikes with his friends. Now, he gets to share those hobbies with his Little.
“Being a Big Brother isn’t as time consuming or as scary as I had thought it would be. I’ve been incredibly fortunate in my life and want to help make life better for others.”
