Become a Mentor
Being a mentor is about showing up, having fun, and making a real difference in a child’s life—and in our community. Right now, kids across the Fond du Lac County area are waiting for a consistent, caring adult to cheer them on, listen, and remind them of their potential.
Big for a Day
Ready to make a big impact with minimal commitment? Host a Big for a Day activity with your company, organization, or service club! For just a few hours, you can engage in an exciting activity alongside children in our program who don’t yet have a one-to-one mentor.
Attend an Event
Join us for a fun way to support local kids and connect with your community. BBBS events bring people together to celebrate, give back, and make mentoring possible for youth in the Fond du Lac County area.
Other Fun Ways to Get Involved
- Adopt-A-Family: Purchase holiday gifts for children and families in our program.
- Amazon Wish List: Donate games, snacks, and other items directly to our agency.
- Cars for Kids: Donate auction funds from unwanted cars, trucks, trailers, recreational vehicles, or other equipment.
- Celebrate With Us: Raise funds in honor of a special birthday, anniversary, or life milestone.
- Gift Card Drive: Collect gift cards or tickets for movies, theater, music, sporting events, and restaurants to be given to our matches.
- Host a Field Trip: Introduce matches to your workplace or a community point of interest.
- Jeans Day: Employees or students to pay a small donation to wear denim to work or school.
- Join a Committee: Help plan events, support match activities, and assist with fundraising efforts.
- Lunch and Learn: Invite us to present at your office, church, neighborhood association, or sports club.
