Last year, we celebrated the resilient youth who powered through a pandemic with the help of their mentors. This year, we’re celebrating the community that made it possible.
The BIG Event is a yearly fundraising gala benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County. This year’s event features local celebrity mixologists, silent and live auctions with Rod Drendel and special guest Charlie Berens, our Big of the Year award, recognition of our graduating matches, a special chance to win a piece of jewelry from The Goldsmith, and more!
All proceeds stay right in our community to support local youth with powerful mentoring relationships. Funds raised at The BIG Event help us enroll children into our program, connect matches with activities, train new volunteers, provide monthly match support check-ins, move children off the waiting list, and support mentorship throughout the year.
Individual tickets include one dinner and one mixologist wristband. A table reservation includes eight dinners and eight mixologist wristbands.

Ope! Are you a fan of Charlie Berens? You can win a chance to meet the Midwest icon and comedian on July 13, 2023 before The BIG Event! The meet and greet will include light appetizers, a beverage, and photo opportunity. Winners will be randomly selected one week prior to The BIG Event.
Raffle tickets are one for $25, or five for $100. Tickets can be purchased in person at the following locations:
