As our program continues to grow, we’re thankful for the tremendous support of our community. We’re excited to celebrate another successful year of mentoring with everyone who has helped make our program what it is.

The BIG Event is a yearly fundraising gala benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County. This year’s event features local celebrity mixologists, live and silent auctions, the Big of the Year award, recognition of graduating matches, a chance to win a special piece of jewelry from The Goldsmith, and more!

Children continue to be the focus of everything we do. That’s why every dollar raised for this event stays local to provide youth with powerful mentoring relationships. Funds raised at The BIG Event help us enroll children into our program, connect matches with activities, train new volunteers, maintain monthly match support check-ins, move children off the waiting list, and support our ever-expanding group mentoring opportunities.

Tickets

Tickets are $150 including a petite filet and panko-crusted walleye dinner with the opportunity to sample mixologist cocktails. Individuals and companies alike can purchase tickets to attend the gala, or reserve a table for groups.

Individual tickets include one dinner and a table reservation includes eight dinners.

Big Brother Dave Colwin

We’re excited to honor Big Brother Dave Colwin as our 2024 Big of the Year! Dave has gone above and beyond as a two-time Big Brother and even a past board member. We’re thrilled to celebrate Dave’s longtime commitment to local youth at The BIG Event.

Live Auction

This year’s live auction will be hosted by auctioneer extraordinaire Rod Drendel. Five unique items will be available for bidding in person at The BIG Event. Stay tuned for a sneak peek!

Silent Auction

Our silent auction is completely online—place your bids and help local kids at The BIG Event or from the comfort of your own home. Silent auction bidding will open online on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 5:00 PM and close on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 7:25 PM.
