Tammy Young

Executive Director

I joined BBBS as the Executive Director in October of 2014.  I have a BS in Elementary Education from UW – Oshkosh and have over 20 years of work experience focusing on sales and marketing with an emphasis on volunteer engagement.  BBBS is a fantastic organization that I am thrilled to be a part of!  This program directly benefits the lives of children.  Most of the kids in our program live at or below poverty level.  Our program helps them with social, emotional and character development through one-to-one mentoring relationships with caring adults.

Jennifer Smith

Senior Community Based Program Coordinator

I have a degree in AODA Counseling. I enjoy working to keep the children in our program safe and happy. I keep in constant contact with all members of each match and keep accurate documentation to ensure that everyone involved in getting the most out of our program. I also plan and oversee all match activities for the organization, and I am always looking for fun ideas to keep our matches engaged!

Joscelyn Deanovich

Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator

I’m the Community Based Program Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Teamwork is key as I will be working hard to recruit and enroll positive role models to match with the children in our program.  Once a match occurs, I will be providing guidance, consistent contact, encouragement, recommendations, and resources in order to promote a healthy relationship.  With a degree in Psychology and over 20 years of experience mentoring local youth through athletics, I love knowing children in our community will have the opportunity to learn and grow as individuals through their experiences and relationships at Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Lisa Warntjes

Enrollment and Match Specialist

I am the Enrollment & Match Specialist for the School Based Program at BBBS. I have a degree in Psychology and enjoy working with the variety of people I meet every day. My job is to recruit and screen high school students, college students and adult volunteers that will mentor a child during school hours. I keep in regular contact with each school based match, the child’s parents and teachers. It is rewarding to see how much a mentor can help improve a child’s attitude toward school and their relationships with both peers and adults.
