What is Big for a Day?

Ready to make a big impact with minimal commitment? Host a Big for a Day activity with your company, organization, or service club! For just a few hours, you can engage in an exciting activity alongside children in our program who don’t yet have a 1:1 mentor. Youth can make a connection with positive community role models and volunteers can experience what it’s like to be a mentor for a day!

What activities can you plan for Big for a Day?

BBBS will work with you to find an activity and location that fits best with your group’s needs. The possibilities are endless! Take a look at some of our past Big for a Day partners.

• LEGO Night with C.D. Smith Construction: Littles toured the C.D. Smith Construction facility, made their own LEGO creations, stepped into virtual reality, and enjoyed a pizza dinner with C.D. Smith Construction employees.
• Fun & Games with Society Insurance: Society Insurance employees hosted activity stations at their facility such as outdoor lawn games, cookie decorating, board games, and ping pong paired with sandwiches and boba lemonade.
• Big for a Day with YPF: Members of Young Professionals of Fond du Lac visited the BBBS office to connect with our Littles over yard games, board games, crafts, and a tasty pizza dinner.
