JJ Watt, three-time NFL defensive player of the year & Walter Payton NFL man of the year headlined the 2024 U.S. Venture Open, a one-day charity event held annually in Northeast Wisconsin. This enormous fundraiser is recognized as the nation’s single largest one-day charitable event dedicated to ending poverty. Watt, a Pewaukee, Wisconsin native was drafted in 2011 by the Houston Texans out of the University of Wisconsin. The former Badger played in Houston for 10 seasons before finishing his last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
