Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County has accomplished incredible things in the last year—we moved into a new building, launched a new site-based mentoring program, and served more youth than ever before. These amazing achievements wouldn’t be possible without the support of the community that surrounds us, so we hope you’ll join us in celebrating at The BIG Event at Hotel Retlaw in Fond du Lac on Thursday, July 10, 2025!

This year’s gala features local celebrity mixologists, live and silent auctions, the Big of the Year award, recognition of graduating matches, a chance to win a special piece of jewelry from The Goldsmith, and more.

Tickets

Tickets are $150 including a braised short rib and shrimp skewer dinner with the opportunity to sample mixologist cocktails. Individuals and companies alike can purchase tickets to attend the gala, or reserve a table for groups.

Individual tickets include one dinner and a table reservation includes eight dinners.

Signature beverages from local celebrity mixologists are included with your meal—help us choose the best! Voting will take place at The BIG Event and the winning mixologist team will be announced at the end of the night.

Big of the Year

The annual Big of the Year award recognizes a volunteer who has gone above and beyond in their commitment, consistency, and friendship to their Little. Our 2025 Big of the Year will be announced soon.

Graduating Matches

Every year, we celebrate a group of matches whose friendship reaches the special milestone of high school graduation. Our 2025 graduating matches will be announced soon.

Silent Auction

Our silent auction is completely online—place your bids and help local kids at The BIG Event or from the comfort of your own home. Silent auction bidding will open online on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 5:00 PM and close on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 7:25 PM. Stay tuned for more information.

Live Auction

This year’s live auction will be hosted by auctioneer extraordinaire Rod Drendel and special guest 107.1 The Bull’s Chandra Lynn. Several unique items will be available for bidding in person at The BIG Event.

Big Impact

Your contribution to this event will stay local and allow us to connect more children with volunteer mentors right here in the Fond du Lac County area. These connections help youth build self-confidence, make positive choices, develop emotional resilience, and achieve academic success.
