The Oreo Cats

When I moved to Fond Du Lac summer 2022 I decided to join Big Brother Big Sisters to give back to my community. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a match based program that matches children to adult mentors to help ignite their potential. I was matched with my little in 2022, and we like to do crafts, go to the park, play at the pool, get ice cream, etc.

I found most of my mentors later in life and I cherish the relationships I have with them so much that I decided to pay it forward and be the mentor I needed when I was younger. I hope to be a support system as she grows up throughout the years. My Little and I decided to participate in Big Brothers Big Sister’s largest annual fundraiser “Bowl for Kids Sake”

With a donation to our team “The Oreo Cats” I plan to work with my little to teach her the importance of thank you cards by making a handmade thank you card for each person who donates to our team.
